Curly Hair Routine for Dubai Humidity: Wash → Style → Refresh

Wash → Style → Refresh

Dubai weather = beautiful… and very humid. Curls love moisture, but excess humidity swells the hair shaft and lifts the cuticle, which means frizz, halo, and lost definition. The fix is a simple, repeatable routine built around gentle cleansing, strategic treatment, light sealing, and quick refreshes between wash days, all available from IBS Beauty’s current lineup.

Step 1: Wash (Cleanse without stripping)

Why it works: A nutrient-rich cleanser infused with Biotin and authentic Jamaican Black Castor Oil (JBCO) to comfort dry/itchy scalps and boost shine, great for all hair types and textures. Rinse with cool water to help lay the cuticle flatter before styling.

Pro tip: If your scalp runs dry but your lengths get frizzy, focus shampoo at the roots and let the suds gently pass through the ends.

Step 2: Treat (Choose protein or moisture based on what your curls need)

Option A: Strength & anti-frizz (every 2–4 weeks):

A pro-favorite formula powered by protein, keratin, and collagen to align hair fibers, reduce volume, and smooth away frizz for sleeker, stronger curls in humidity. IBS Beauty’s own guide recommends using it every 2–4 weeks for salon-level results at home.

Option B — Moisture & definition (wash day or mid-week):

Made for curly, coily, and transitioning hair; use it as a rinse-out mask or a lightweight leave-in to detangle, soften, and define without weight. (Skala curl variants are listed on site if Mais Cachos is sold out when you shop.)

Step 3: Style (Seal + define with lightweight oils)

Use: Sunny Isle Rosemary Mint Hair & Strong Roots Oil (3 oz)

What it does: nourishes follicles, controls frizz and flyaways, smooths split ends, conditions a dry scalp, and is safe on chemically treated hair; perfect for scrunching into damp curls after your conditioner/mask. Try the scrunch + coil method: Scrunch oil-glazed hands upward, then finger-coil any loose ringlets.

Fine-hair alternative: Sunny Isle Rosemary Mint Lite Oil (2 oz) if you need the same slip and shine with a lighter feel.

Step 4: Refresh (Day 2–4)

Fill a misting bottle with water, spritz areas that lost definition, then emulsify 1–2 drops of Rosemary Mint Oil between your palms and glaze over frizzy sections. Scrunch to reactivate clumps; coil any stubborn bits. For extra soft hold on very dry ends, a pea of Skala cream as a leave-in works well.

Extra support for stubborn frizz

On deep-care weeks, rotate in Sunny Isle Rosemary Mint Masque (packed with 32+ essential oils, biotin, and JBCO) to supercharge hydration before sealing with oil.
